Sly Cooper Thieves In Time will be out in Europe by the end of the week, hopefully this trailer will get you excited because Sony refuses to acknowledge it. Much like Sly himself, it appears that this game is slipping by unnoticed and it’s a terrible shame because I’m currently play it for review soon, so far I’m rather enjoying it.
Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is the forth entry in the series but the first on Sony’s PlayStation 3, the game isn’t developed by Sucker Punch who did the first three games but rather Sanzaru Games. These days Sucker Punch is busy working on the inFamous series so poor old Sly hasn’t seen much action in a while. Thankfully Sanzaru Games stepped in to show Sony a prototype engine which led Sony to task them with doing Sly Collection HD and now this game.
The only real reason Sly Cooper Thieves in Time happened is because clearly Sanzaru Games are fans of the previous games. The game is being sent to die by Sony, they’ve not made a big deal out of it at all so I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t know this Thieves in Time even existed.
I’m working hard to bring you guys a review as soon as possible but I can already tell you it’s good game, in fact it’s only £19.99 on the PlayStation store so it’s obvious Sony has no faith in this one. Don’t wait for my review, go ahead and pick this up if you’re a fan of 3D platformers from the N64 and PS2 era.
