Shelter, the hotly anticipated adventure game from Might and Delight, has been given a release date of the 28th of August via Steam and the official website.
For those unfamiliar, Shelter puts you in control of a mother badger protecting her cubs from danger. Their journey is dangerous and difficult. Predators, dangerous river crossings, fires and the ever present threat of starvation create a tense experience.
Shelter has an almost unique art style, shown in the trailer below, and it has received praise from numerous sites, such as Kotaku and Rock Paper Shotgun.
Johannes Wadin, Creative Director at Might and Delight, is proud of the “strong emotional product” that they have created and feels that the developers have achieved their ambition of making a game where players really connect with the characters.
Shelter will be available for a discounted price on Steam until the 4th of September and is retailing for (full price) £6.99/$9.99/€8.99. Shelter is also available as part of a package with Might and Delight’s first game, Pid, directly from their website.
